Jissirt Bolete

issirt Bolete is a type of mushroom named for its location, the Jissirt Peninsula. The brightly colored Jissirt Bolete holds weak alchemic attributes for health restoration, but is most commonly used as an ingredient in cooking rather than alchemy. Jissirt Bolete is a species of flora with an incredible taste, and because of this is the essential ingredient in much of the peninsula's finest cuisine. Chefs sometimes abbreviate the name of this mushroom to Jiste, to make reference to it easier when in the kitchen. This nickname has also been taken up by some residents local to the peninsula's towns.

The mushroom is found growing at the base of trees quite commonly, but requires a large amount of sunlight to grow, so it is seldom found in forested areas. Jissirt Bolete grows very strong roots however, and is capable of growing in close proximity to rocks, near cliffs, and in windy environments. The roots spread relatively far from the center of the plant, and as such it is difficult to farm in a controlled environment like a planter.
