Issillia Caverns

he Issillia Caverns are located in the Grakkan Range, just east of the Issillia village. As the last standing symbol of Boynic history, the caverns mark the place where the Boynic god, Boyenn Faroth, first came to rest after venturing up onto dry land. Faroth declared the cave the birthplace of his race, though truly Boyenn are from the sea. During the Exodus of the Gods, Faroth left the caves to his people. To commemorate such a sacred place, a large likeness of the Boynic god was carved right into the wall of the caverns.

Many years later, when Atarus was officially recognized as the true capital of Itsumo, the Boynic ambassador to Atarus requested on behalf of his people to name the newly discovered waters to the north of the city after Boyenn Faroth. The counsel of Atarus approved, and Faroth Bay was born. Some Boyenn also refer to the much smaller bay southeast of the caverns as Faroth bay, though it is so small that it has no official name.
