Coran
oran is a village on Tyruss Isle that is called home by Aisean worshippers from around the island. The mayor of the town, Daytus Coran, ordered a statue of the Goddess Aisea to be built, to symbolize the religious choices of it's residents. The village also is home to a shrine where villagers can make offerings to the Goddess as well as pray in times of need. Some villagers living in Tyruss brave the journey through the bandit infested caves to pay their respects to Aisea at Coran's shrine on an annual basis.
Coran was founded long after the village of Tyruss was settled, starting out as little more than a shrine and a house. At the time of its foundation, Coran was considered to still be an extension of Tyruss village, but as monsters began to arise from the ruins, and bandits began showing up in the caves separating the two villages, they both had to begin functioning independently, as travel between the two had become very difficult for the average villager.

The center of Coran village is occupied by a large statue of the Angelic Goddess Aisea, which was crafted at Koen Abbey, and shipped out to the island from the port at Zenpai. The whole process cost the mayor a considerable sum of gold, and as a result, Coran is no longer being expanded, though at first it showed great promise for becoming the island's major town. Having fulfilled his goal of making a place for Aisean worshippers to come together on Tyruss Isle, Daytus Coran now resides in his village home, living a quiet, simple life. The shrine is seen as a symbol of Coran's willingness to go to great lengths to honor the Goddess, and many monks from Koen Abbey travel to the village to see for themselves the product of one man's faith.
Unlike Tyruss, Coran is built away from the shore, and does not offer trade to cities on the mainland. Its food is provided mainly from hunting, as the increase in monsters on island has also created an increase in fair game, making hunting the most efficient food source, with little land available for farming because of the mountainous and rocky terrain. Prior to the increase in monsters from the nearby ruins, Coran imported much of its food from Tyruss, but as the caves became more dangerous to travel through, Tyruss stopped sending supplies.
