avvan was founded to give the people hope, and something to believe in. Ceydic was a natural born leader, and the people loved him. His religion quickly prospered as word spread of his mighty magical powers. But over time, Ceydic spent more of his days up in his tower, away from the people. As the skies grew darker with the ever growing evil spreading beyond mortal sight, Ceydic became secluded from his people. Pilgrims wondered if they had angered their Lord, and constructed shrines in Ceydic's honor to bring him back into their lives. The people's faith in Ceydic faltered, but recovered just as the Three Nations went to war. After declaring war on Atarus and WarFang, Ceydic was full of enthusiasm once again. Being immortal, the years of sitting alone in his tower had nearly driven him mad, but enraged by the so called 'betrayal' of the Atarian troops against him, he took back his role as a vigilant leader, and the people celebrated as they prepared to fight for him.
